Tempest Payout Reporting
Role: Design Lead + Interaction Designer
On this project, I worked with a junior UI designer, a data engineer and a product manager. I ran the project as the Product Design Lead, and was also responsible for prototyping interaction design.
The design documentation slides served as a way to collaborate and communicate with the other designer I was working with. Since we're a small group, we often are working on more than one project at a time, so keeping record of our conversations and next steps was vital. This was also a way to communicate our work to the organization at large.
Spreadsheets and documents are a huge part of my workflow, and a great way to over-communicate early and often with the rest of the team. Especially when dealing with data, we want to make sure that we are all on the same page with what each term truly means. This was also helpful in understanding how expensive our design assumptions/choices would be for the engineering team. Here is full screenshot of the implementation. I worked closely with engineers to finalize the design in-browser as they worked.
