Design Workshops for Engineers

Throughout my career, I've led many educational workshops and brownbag sessions. The above photo is from an internal series I led at Say titled Well-Designed Development. In this series, we would walk through a number of design concepts and exercises to get our engineering team more familiar with the terminology and practice of design. If designers are expected to understand and perhaps even become expert coders, then engineers should do the same for design. This particular workshop was called Typography for Engineers.

The following slides is an excerpt from an internal slide deck where I gave an introductory overview of typography and the web.
